yellowstone trip

a few days after school got out for Rina we headed to Yellowstone. We wanted to show Rina and I had never been there before either and Dan hadn't been since he was a kid.  We drove in through the south entrance so we could see the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole.  it was a longer drive, but we finally arrived and were excited to start exploring.   And yes we all look so beautiful because we had been in the car for 10 hours....

IN jackson hole at the city center under the famous antler arches....

At Jenny lake at the base of the Grand Tetons. they were amazing!

Once we arrived in Yellowstone we stayed at the old faithful inn.  it was about one hundred steps from this viewing spot for old faithful.  That was pretty cool, but they were very RUSTIC.  we had two rooms in this cabin.  It had no bathroom that was a separate building  about  50 yards away ... so that is great for a pregnant lady who pee's a lot and is also afraid of being mauled by a bear in the middle of the night.
this was both of our rooms combined in one cabin

I hope you had a fun trip! I loved Yellowstone. There's so many neat things to see. I loved all the pretty geothermic features...even though they didn't smell as pretty as they looked.
